Sexual life after giving birth. Fighting dryness naturally

There are a lot of funny things about pregnancy and giving birth. Those things are very damn well kept secrets, that nobody warns you about.

I mean, really.

When you announce to your girlfriends (with kids) that you are pregnant, all you here is: “congratulations”. Come on! Seriously?

Was it that hard to warn me right there, right away about all the weird stuff that my body is going to experience?

You went through all this! You know what to expect!

Oh God!

I’m talking about all the sneaky, freaky and disgusting stuff that happened to all of us, pregnant women.

Why? Why didn’t you warn me? WHY?

Why did I have to find it all out by myself. To desperately google in the middle of the night, why my breasts are leaking milk if my baby is still in my belly and how to stop it!

Today we are going to tell you a bit more about postpartum vaginal dryness.

And a natural remedy that is safe for you, your partner and your baby and works!

First of all, don’t panic. It happens. And it actually happens in like 90% of the situations.

So it’s quite normal to experience vaginal dryness postpartum. Even if you had Cesarian section.

As a natural as haemorrhoids. Yep, I know, no-one warned you. They didn’t warn me either. Sorry. We’re going to prepare an article on this topic as soon as possible.

Why is it happening.

One word – hormones. Your body is overpacked with estrogen and progesterone (along with other hormones) during pregnancy, both hormones are produced like there is no tomorrow, skyrocketing all the levels!

24 hours after you give birth the levels get back to their pre-pregnancy state. Leaving your body to deal with the situation.

If you breastfeed, your body lowers down estrogen further while you’re nursing. Because estrogen can interfere with milk supply.

But why is estrogen that important? It boosts the flow of blood to the genitals, which increases vaginal lubrication.

There are also other conditions, that can cause postpartum vaginal dryness. Like postpartum thyroiditis. An inflammation of the thyroid gland, which produces hormones that are vital to various bodily functions. However this is a quite rare condition, only 5 to 10 percent of women are affected.

What is the solution.

First of all, this is a temporary condition. Your body will eventually get back to normal.

Second of all, try to avoid estrogen vaginal creams, like Premarin or Esterase. Yes, I mean it.

Your body had just went through hormonal apocalypse. Let it heal! Don’t push it further into disbalance.

And don’t forget that from now on, everything that gets into your body one way or another can end up contacting your baby. And you don’t really want those synthetic (yes they are synthetic) hormones in contact with your bundle of joy.

So what is there left to do?

Vaginal lubricant.

Once again. It should be NATURAL!

We were desperately searching for one and honestly almost ended up being desperate. But we found a perfect lubricant!

That is safe for you, your partner, your baby and even your sheets!

The only all natural moisturising lubricant made from bio-sustainable New Zealand Kiwi Fruit plant extract!

Why we are so fond of it?

I’m just going to publish the list of ingredients here:

Aqua(DeionizedWater), VegetableGlycerin, Ac- tinidiaChinensis(Kiwi)FruitPlantExtract, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Citrate, CitricAcid, Potassium Sorbate, CitrusGrandis(Grapefruit)SeedExtract.

What makes SYLK®so precious are the Polysaccharides.

The SYLK® formula is made with kiwifruit vine extract that is harvested from orchards in the Province of Auckland, New Zealand. Kiwifruit vine contains an inherent ingredient known as polysaccharides; through our proprietary extract process, we collect the natural film-like lubricant which is similar to that of what the body produces. Polysaccharides are polymeric carbohydrate molecules composed of long chains of monosaccharide units bound together by glycosidic linkages and on hydrolysis which give the constituent monosaccharides or oligosaccharides.

But enough words. We actually had it tested by 10 dedicated readers. And here is what they think.

After I had my daughter, for weeks I couldn’t even think about sex. But when the time had come, it became obvious that we have a problem. I thought it’s going to pass. But 6 months later it didn’t get any better! Honestly, when I got to test SYLK® I wasn’t expecting much. Since most of the lubricants we tried caused irritation. But it worked! It did! There is no more pain, no more irritation, no more dryness!

I’ve been experiencing vaginal dryness since I remember myself. It was always there. I’ve tried almost every lubricant on the market. Before I found SYLK®, I used coconut oil for years. The best thing about SYLK®for me – it doesn’t leave greasy spots on my underwear. And it’s safe of course.

It’s not sticky! It’s just amazing! It doesn’t give you that artificial feel. We really love it!

SYLK®is a total game changer! It saved my marriage. I know it sounds cheesy. But it’s true. Me and my husband haven’t had sex for almost a year. It’s not that we did’t try or there was a lack of desire. It was just me. My body never fully recovered after I had twins. It was a difficult birth experience and I had a lot of complications. Starting with scar tissue all over my vagina and ending with eternal dryness. Thanks to SYLK®there is no more pain. I’m so thankful! WE are so thankful!
