How to react on criticism

I’ve been facing a lot of criticism lately. How I talk to my child, how I feed him, how I change him. It seems like people started to care more about each other. Especially if you are a mother with a crying toddler in the subway. Oh wow! Seems like everybody all of a sudden have a piece of advice for you.

Though, it’s strange how those particular people got carried away by their iPhones when you need help bringing the stroller downstairs.

Even David Backham got pissed off by all that unexpected and unwanted advices.

David! We feel you! Really!

If that’s what mr. Perfect gets, it’s easy to imagine what we (regular mortal people) get. Huh!

Well, what can I say. Parenting is not an easy thing. Every decision we (parents) make is based on our love and care! And even if those decisions may seem order xanax online from canada highly unpopular and strange to others, they are for the best.

We can’t stop people from criticism. We can’t change it. All we can do is have some tricks and patience in order to face it right.

Here are some of my tips on how to resist criticism:

– Ignore. Keep silence. Don’t respond.

In most situations people just get bored and stop talking in a few minutes. Though, if you think that it’s not polite, you can try my next tip 😉

– Make a joke.

You will be amazed how good it works. When you are criticized, joke is not the reaction you are expected to perform. Which has a surprise effect! This will catch your interlocutor flatfooted. And most likely he will bustle off.

I bet if David would just mad a nice joke about that reporter, it would all be over by now.
