I have to make a confession. I yell at my kid. I do. And then immediately I feel sorry for what I did. But it’s already too late. So there we go. He is upset, I am upset… I feel guilty, he feels insecure. Nobody won.

Apart from that, yelling seriously affects our kids. It totally destroys your child’s sense of security and self-esteem. Which can result in much more serious problems later. Screaming is scary. Witnessing someone you rely on and depend from bursting into uncontrollable shouting – is scary.
