Ultimate hot chocolate recipe
Winter is finally here, in NYC. Hard to believe, that only month ago we were walking around in tank tops and leather jackets. As I mentioned before, weather here is absolutely unpredictable. You never know.
We’ve been looking for the perfect hot chocolate recipe for a while now. Sweet enough, but not greasy. Gentle and savory.
We found it! And guess what? We are going to share with you!
8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa at least)
2 cups whole milk
1 stick cinnamon
4 tablespoons maple sugar
1 tablespoon bourbon vanilla
Heat the milk in small saucepan on low heat. Add sugar and cinnamon. Stir for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for 2 minutes. Take out the cinnamon stick. Brake chocolate in pieces and add to the milk. Stir frequently.
Use the eggbeater when chocolate melts. When smooth add vanilla. Ready to serve.

P.S. Oh! And the recipe has an adult version. You can add some cognac!
