We decided to make a short list of foods that actually make your child’s brain work better

Just so you won’t have to surf the internet.

1. Blueberries

As proven by Tufts University blueberries Reduce Memory Loss and Revers Loss of Coordination! There is a story about pilots in the British Royal Air Force. During WW2 they regularly consumed blueberry preserves to enhance their night vision. Their vision improved so much that they were able to complete their missions with significantly greater accuracy.

2. Tomatoes

Now that’s a YAY! Who doesn’t love tomato sauce or juice?

And tomatoes are a great source of antioxidants. Which help to protect our body against free radicals that might cause Alzheimer’s.

3. Pumpkin seeds

Sprinkle them on salads, oatmeal or even frittata. Apart from containing a lot of the Omega 3 fatty acids, pumpkin seeds contain high amount of magnesium. Which calms our brain. just a quick tip. Your kids are going high on sugar? Give them a handful of this healthy snack to bring some harmony in.

4. Oily fish

Oily fish is, actually, among the best natural sources of the vital omega-3 fatty acids. Why? Because it contains long chain omega-3s.

5. Black currant and parsley

It’s all about vitamin C. Ascorbate (vitamin C) an antioxidant working directly in the brain. It also has a number of other important functions. As participating as a co-factor in several enzyme reactions including catecholamine synthesis and collagen production.
